I wonder how they felt when the new owners(investment group) of yeti cutoff most of their original mom/pop dealers across America? I hated to lose that line, it was a great money maker.

Never understood why anyone bought those heavy, overpriced ice chests, and then did so much free advertising for them"
So,so many sheep.

They are $1900- $2600. Amazon will have them, by summer, for $49.95.

I love microbrand watches but these are not very compelling to me.
The brand name is also too damn big on most of their versions, it's kinda distracting.

My first yeti item was a 45 quart cooler that I got through my buddy who had a 60% employee discount so I got it for like 140 or so. I got a bag cooler through citi rewards for 20 bucks plus a ton of point I never use.
I do have a lot of the cups that I’ve picked up over the years. I have no shame in that, they are good but not any better than most any insulated steel cup these days.
These watches look fine and the price isn’t awful if they are well built and will last, my problem is the 41mm case size. Most people are going with bigger watches now and not having a 44 or 45mm case seems off.

Shows off that you are so frickin rich you can afford to blow a bunch of hundreds on an ice chest. But you have to make sure everyone knows you either got it as a gift or paid like half price for it. Really weird dynamic there.

That is so 2012. Watches are trending smaller now, at least away from the 44mm+ range. There are a lot more sub 40mm watches being made now than 5 years ago.

It sucks for the small retailers, for sure, but I’m sure they realized that, based on the growth of the company, they had to change the business model in order to be successful.
The checks were also nice…

They aren't that bad actually. I kind of like the Rover. Think they will get shite on simply bc they are "yeti" and the price does seem high for a micro brand.

This will be the hottest item of the year at Rednecks Village

It’s funny you say that when smart watches go bigger. I know a lot of the traditional watches are going smaller but I have big wrists and big hands so a small watch looks out of place.

Trying to get us to use Duck Duck Go. Clever move, Jim!

But can it survive a bear?

I'm holding out for the watch with No Colors.

Just throw the watch into a cooler if a bear appears.
Problem solved.
