There’s no reason for that watch to exist.

I don't think I've owned a watch in over a decade. They served a function at one point but now they are just a piece of jewelry.

A cheap Submariner knock-off. Wow.

The Pez watch. Still the world's finest timepiece.

Exactly. An AquaRacer is in that range and awesome.
When you can buy a Longines Hydroconquest for less than 60% of the price it puts things in perspective.
There are a ton of established brands that give more for less not counting the name, the number of micros that give more for less is multiple times more.

Even the name is gay.
"Seaholm"
Is it the name of a street in a D.R. Horton subdivision? Is it a surname? Is it a made up word meant only to convey some sense of maritime spirit?

It is a section of Austin.

Gotcha. I think I'd have leaned harder into the Swiss aspect than the Austin, Texas aspect.

I was curious since they didn't show the clasp anywhere I could see in the site. A simple stamped clasp on a $2k watch? There is nothing inherently wrong with them as since vintage watches (including Seiko and Rolex) have shown they can last for multiple decades when you can find milled clasps on watches 1/4 of the price it becomes suspect.

The OB nocolors watch coming in 2023
Posted on 1/22/22 at 10:30 pm to Jim Rockford
No one is going to admit buying one. They'll all say it was a gift.

Plenty of reasons for mechanical wristwatches to exist. It humors me that some of the same people who geek out over cars shite on wristwatches, just because they don’t understand them.

Yeti is nothing but a Redneck status symbol.
