The other night I was looking at random google map street views :CSB:

And I entered in my grandmothers address. Surprisingly, the google maps street view car came by at a time when my grandmother(who passed in 2012) was outside, her chocolate lab by her side, standing in the driveway talking to my mother. Pretty awesome.
Just a cool, or maybe not cool to some, story bro.

Man, that is pretty damn awesome! As someone else said, grab a screenshot to save, as you don't know when they will replace that image with a newer one.

your google maps story turned out a lot better than mine did. i checked my house one day on there and saw a truck i didn't recognize in the driveway at a date when my SO was living with me but at a time of the day when i would have been at work. i'm about 99% sure i just caught her cheating. i could tell by the angle of the shadows the sun was directly overhead. this was during lunch. i want to find out who the frick this is before i confront her. i want to have all this motherfricker's info, where he lives, where he works, then randomly pull up the google street view at home one day and be like "oh hey you fricking whore, what's (insert name) doing at my house while i'm at work?" so i call a private detective to see if he can run some plates and follow this jody, and he basically laughs and turns me down. says to call the cops and hangs up on me. i end up calling some sort of insurance company and impersonating a human resources employee that is hiring a new person and needs background info. they give me the name from the plate number. i google his name. sounds vaguely familiar. i think this is someone i know. let's face it; it's always someone you know. find his address. hmm, kind of a shitty old person's house..?? ah, yes, that's the truck in the driveway! maybe this is his son or something. go back to google. fricking furious right now. yea, here's his facebook. it's for a business. let's check this out...

This is going to be a badass feature in 30 years. Imagine google street view from the year you were born and every few years after. You can essentially watch your hometown grow.
