It almost has to be a residency.

An exception that would draw big would be WWE. They are already cutting edge production wise and no one does big events (love them or hate them) better.

Between their production crew and the Sphere's, they could probably do something really cool there.

It is definitely set up as a "theater" though. Not to say they can't make it work. They might be able to host big fights in there too. It just won't be the traditional "in the round" type seating. But if they can complement the action (without distracting too much from it) maybe it'll work. The screen kinda overwhelmed U2, if you can imagine. People spent a LOT of time looking up at the screen instead of the stage...and I was fairly close to the stage.

The issue is U2's take. U2's getting most of it.

Wouldn't this have been known beforehand? How could that not be accounted for to explain such a vast difference between expected and actual revenue? Same with opening at the end of quarter.

Anyone with two brain cells could see this coming. Vegas is growing, but it’s not at the level of tourism of LA, Miami, and NYC where there’s millions of people coming from all over the world to visit and the cheapest shittiest 3-star hotel goes for $350 a night

Right! They should have said, "let's get some thug arse ghetto rat with face tattoos and jewelry in his teeth...he can sing the same 8 curse words to a bad electronic beat....that will bring all those free spending hood rats and sagging pants White punks trying to act black in here." Tell the truth. You have on a flat brim hat and it's probably turned sideways to lock it on to your White bot dreads.

I didn’t know these types of artists and U2 are the only ones that exist.

They have their shows from there up on YouTube. Not something I like.

And also the guitarist and bass player are dressed like teenagers.

revenue of $117.3 million is nearly $3.8 million per day.

I just looked it up and tickets range from $169-$249. If you do an average, you need approximately 20,000 visitors a day!

Yeah, because contracting with the 2nd highest grossing live musical artists in 2022 was a real hare-brained scheme.

Then they need to bring in Phish or Widespread Panic aka drinkin crowds that will go for multi nights. Phish is the best option. They could play two weeks in a row and probably sell the joint out...

Saw a clip of him from the CMAs. Just more nashville trash. Can't sing to save his life. Post Malone of all people sang better.
