I work for a foundation company that has 23-28 year old foreman making over $100k a year working 5 days a week.
Doing what kind of work? What's their exact job and title?

The 25 year olds I knew making 6 figures never became millionaires because they spent it all on boats, atvs, F-250s, and big tires
And for some child support
These guys are a different breed. It's currently a private company with large investors where the CEO gave ownership to all employees, the intent is to go public is the thought process.

Foundation repairs (helical/push piers), waterproofing, encapsulations, floor framing repairs, slab piers, concrete poly repairs.

You know you can move to salary fairly easily from a trade, right? Most competent people do
If you are living that life wait a few more years. And also seriously take care of yourself. Eat right, exercise and do calisthenics, maintain a low weight. Or one day you will wake up and go to sit down on the toilet and fall off because it hurts so bad.

We’ve visited 5 universities this summer so far and all of the schools are around 60-40 girls to guys. It makes you wonder if the lack of men in colleges are leading to women leaving college as entitled and self loathing individuals (more than they are generally), never really getting the experience of socially mingling with the opposite sex in their early adult years. They only hear about what men are from their communist professors who no longer work with males in their own departments because all the men left.
Is there a way to reverse this trend or do we need to totally revamp higher education?
tOT: College is a complete scam and I'm encouraging all my sons to go to trade school instead
Also tOT: Why aren't more of our sons in college?

Someone making 80-90k can't afford a raptor lmao

Colleges have always had a greater portion female than male. 60/40 is pretty standard. Generalizing, more guys are required to go get a job right out of HS than women.
I’ll cut against the grain of this thread: Education is the absolute best investment I’ve ever made in myself. Going to college and graduate school has and will continue to pay for itself over and over again.

And 95% of those female graduates don’t have a job that actually benefits society in any way, shape or form.

The percentage was close to this many years ago when I was in school and has continued to grow.
When you take out the men that go to military and trades it only makes sense.
It’s just 5% difference.

I can’t speak for other crafts, but I’m an instrument tech. It isn’t remotely close to back breaking work

The problem is k-12 education, it’s geared entirely toward how women learn best. It’s a real issue.
This is very true.

I think it’s a good thing
Welding, plumbing, pipe fitters, etc
If I had to do it all again I would’ve done a trade. Good people too

Ok, maybe I overgeneralized just a tab bit but my observation about the male to female ratio still stands

It has a name as well. It mostly operates under the banner of social emotional learning. CRT is dog shite and terrible don’t get me wrong but somehow social emotional learning doctrine has escaped scrutiny completely.

Its a big problem. The ugly chicks arent even bothering and are just scissoring each other instead. The just ok looking ones are "bi". They all would murder the hot chicks if they were allowed to.
