Jeep culture is almost as cringe as stoner culture.

"Jeep culture" as you call it has been ruined by women and modern convenience. twenty plus years ago, really all there was to "Jeep culture" was that we waved at each other. and really all the wave was for was to acknowledge a fellow human who was probably a kindred spirit of sorts - earlier Jeeps (YJs and earlier, TJs too i guess, to an extent) were super fun to drive and own, but it came with a lot of drawbacks too. you were one with the weather - if it was hot, you were hot. if it was cold, you were cold. if it was raining, you were wet. they all sucked on the highway. prior to the TJ, the suspension beat you to death. driving an old Jeep was fun as hell, but the shared adversity and austerity of daily driving a jeep was what created "Jeep culture".

well women (and soft men) started wanting to be part of that culture because they thought it was cool, but they didnt want to deal with the actual core of what created the culture in the first place, and the market responded. the demand was there for a Jeep that LOOKED like a Jeep, but has all the comforts of a modern SUV or minivan. maybe even more comforts.

but they missed the very essence of what made pre-2000s Jeep culture cool and fun, which was its inaccessability. so now all you have to have is a big bank loan. you dont even have to know how to drive a stick anymore. it's a culture without any substance. the wave isnt even a a genuine wave anymore. half of these people get a decal on their side mirror with a waving hand. wtf? they get stickers that say "it's a Jeep thing, you wouldnt understand" which is probably the most unintentionally cringey and ironic thing out there now. back in 1998 that might have meant something. now it means literally nothing. it's just a normal SUV. might as well get a sticker that said "it's a Honda Pilot thing, you wouldnt understand". the duck thing is harmless, but it's stupid.

i guess in a lot of ways reflects modern American culture. people want the flash but not the downside. and it still kind of looks like the old thing, but there's no soul anymore.

anyways - viva la square headlight revolution. [ ]IIIIIII[ ]

for anyone who has read Kurt Vonnegut's "Cat's Cradle", Jeep culture is the ultimate Granfalloon.

also - if you havent read Cat's Cradle, you definitely should.

My son had a Jeep while in college and actually did, you know, "Jeep things" with it. The only ducks in his were the one's he shot.

Hilton 2nd Floor bathroom near pedway used to be the best place to take a dump in corporate Lexington. Clean, no heavy traffic, and centrally located. Would recommend.

Only lesbians drive jeeps

While I don’t drive a jeep, I do believe may be a lesbian trapped in a man’s body.

Who are you to judge? OP may identify as a lesbian. And any lesbian who turns him down would me some sort of phobic that none of us can wrap our heads around.
