Iowa fans (and the media) lauded Clark for her swagger and confidence on the court.
Hell, all we saw since the semi's was the clip of her waving off a player behind the 3 pt line that she was supposed to be guarding while she stood in the paint. Iowa fans and media LOVED this and ATE IT UP. "She's cold as f*ck!", "She got that dawg in her!", etc... Yet somehow Reese doing what she did is not sportsmanlike and was classless?
The media was all aboard the Clark train, 24/7, it's all anyone ever heard about. Not to mention the media personality (I forget her name) that came out on ESPN and straight up said she didn't buy LSU's run and that their side of the bracket was easy, strength of schedule, blah blah blah.
I can imagine the LSU players were tired of it.
It was an intense game and after all the Iowa/Clark hype, I can completely understand doing that, in that moment.
People need to lighten up.

Probably when Mulkey came in but it was trending pretty black for a lot of their previous Final Four teams.

I see this all the time and it’s only an effective gotcha among people that don’t understand the premise. On both sides.
Think about it however you want. But taking a swipe at 20-23 year olds for benefiting from government assistance is just ridiculous. If their families did receive assistance, they would have had no say in it. I will never see the point in denigrating a child for the choices of the parent.

I really didn't give a shite who won until I saw the teams on the floor. I have to admit, I was pulling for Iowa.
