Im just giving out friendly advice. Dont buy a house to late in life, its not smart. Live within your means.

You sure sound like someone expecting a windfall from mommy ad daddy kicking the bucket. If that's not what you intend, get better at posting.

Because single young women can get an older sugar daddy and don't have to worry about buying a home.

I find it fascinating when I see people in their 50s buying a home. I guess their kids will not inherit anything.

Excuse me, but frick the kids!

I've raised two, sent them to private school, paid for college and graduate school for both and we made sure they graduated with zero student loan debt. They are both very successful in their careers and are now on their own.

If they inherit nothing when the wife and I die, then we will have done our duty as parents AND lived our lives very well.

Maybe people should stop saying it’s “toxic” for showing any amount of masculinity and we might have a slightly less pussified younger generation.

The only goal of a parent should be to make sure that your kids don’t have to support you later in life.

What has happened to young men, young women, and relations between them is the great intentionally minimized story of our time. Everybody likes to get in ridicule shots at incels and simps and thots and hos, but what is happening is actually a civilizational crisis, particularly with white people. We have to figure out how to get them off social media and into the real world of social interaction and adulthood. Permanant infantilization for males and selling the poonanny for likes for females is not a great long-term strategy for any country that wants to survive.

that’s a bare minimum, not a marker of success

Is it more successful for a 25yo to be, say, an apprentice electrician with IBEW living at home while saving some money up, or to just be homeless?

Social Media.

Instagram/ Snapchat/ Onlyfans

These girls have thousands of guys that will simp over them. They don't have to choose "long term" options.

Example:

-Guy asks a girl on a date.

-Girl says "I want to get to know you first"

-Guy spends all his free time getting to know girl

-Girl has been texting 10 other guys "getting to know them" to choose which one to go on a date with

- 9/10 guys just wasted weeks/months just for a chance to go on a date with girl

And the girls that don't have guys lined up just want a handout or a step dad

You think a young male does not benefit in living in todays world? Life has actually never been easier. America is still a great country full of opportunity. Would you rather everyone kill themselves? I blame these men for not taking control of their lives.

I’m no where close to being a boomer. I graduated LSU in the last 10 years. You’re clearly a pathetic shrill. “Plight of the younger generation” give me a break you. Get off Reddit and you’ll realize the world isn’t so bad.

I don't know if this is an outlier, but three of my best friends have these seemingly perfect lives. Really good kids, the wives are for the most part level-headed and good moms, the guys make great money so the wives can stay home. Now, not all of the kids are dating age -- but, I never hear anything about boyfriends/girlfriends. I have this feeling that social media and COVID have almost made them hesitant to really get involved with anyone. It's very strange.

You are WAY late to the party.

There isn’t really any way to fix it at this point.

Generally, you have to convince young men and women to actually interact in person, not just play on their phones in the same vicinity of each other.

That is a nearly impossible task.

Social media has made that an impossible task.

This should have been addressed a decade ago.

You don't learn many valuable life skills growing up in a city or a suburb

It isn’t really hesitancy.

Think back to how you interacted with and the things you did with your peers when you were a young adult.

You would go to house parties, the mall, arcades, the movies, etc.

Kids LITERALLY do not interact with each other in person anymore.

This preceded Covid.

The lockdowns just put it in overdrive.

Probably 75% of the PoliBoard, with the other 25% being old farts like me who just want everyone off their lawns.

LOL. You can’t think of any other cultures in AMERICA that doesn’t do very well by their children? Perhaps one where single moms are either the norm or becoming the norm, where generational wealth largely doesn’t exist, where a large part of young men end up spending time in jail..
