I'm far from a weather expert, but this rain cell looks to be weakening/breaking down later tonight. Am I off base here?

It's weird my buddy in Alford Estates in Central is still dry.

I'm from central, but I'm not familiar with that neighborhood. I'm in BR, so I'm not on the ground myself to see, just getting info from my parents and brother.
Brothers house took 4 feet of water as of this morning, all vehicles totaled, off of greenwell springs by frog's

I couldn't get past woodland view so you still got plenty of water in your hood.

Man I wonder if those people are still stuck on oneal. I'd like to help if needed

Me either, and I hope you're right. It seems as though the strong band southwest of Lafayette is circling though. Anyone else with more knowledge care to chime in? Thanks

I swear to god, Donna Britt was staring daggers at that thing during one segment and he nervously shifted it back a bit before they cut away to the weather guy.

These people stuck on 12 between Oneal and the Amite can't get out on foot? Head back West, worry about your car later.

Alford Estates is on the same side/next to the horse farm on greenwell springs across from Belingrath. I live off Donnybrook and he sent pictures of my street and it seemed to be under water.

So glad it stopped raining here.
PLEASE check out the corner of Old Wax Road and Durmast (Northwoods Subdivision) if you can. A family friend is trapped at the end of that apartment strip. God bless and thanks

Correct me if I am wrong
Because I right at Bluebonnet at Bayou Fountain It drains into Bayou Manchac by I-10, which then goes to the Amite
I am sure there will be back flow but if you follow the Amite through Bayou Manchac all the way to Bayou Fountain around Bluebonnet and Seigan, will there really be that much to reach here?
Bump... Anyone answer this??
