AFB just showed a map from Ascension Parish... the whole town of Sorrento is expected to have at least moderate flooding
Residents: Please use the map below as a point of reference for the risk zone we are estimating for this flooding event. The blue highlighted area represents areas we anticipate to experience moderate to major flooding.

Shouldn't be any real danger of flooding near Sherwood and I-12, should there?
Nah, most you may have to deal with is overflowing ditches, but I think that has mostly receded. You good.

You know you've built some solid infrastructure when that shite is completely underwater and the electricity is still working.

Wafb just said state troopers are telling people on the interstate by Holden to be prepared to sleep in their cars tonight. That has to suck especially for those driving from out of state.

Houses in Lakepark Garden Homes at the end of Strain Road off of O'Neal are taking on water. I just sold a house there in April and I talked to my old neighbor who was one of the last left in the neighborhood before she was rescued.

Unless you are on Blvd de Province, it's very unlikely....although you should probably avoid driving around and keep your phone charged.

I seriously doubt it....but I suppose it's possible.
Water did go over the I-12 bridge just south of there.

Fairwood Estates off of O'neal ... first house we ever owned back in 1993. Any word in that area? Totally just curious and no real need to know.

It was there 1 hour ago when I picked family up off the boats

I think people are saying "washed out" and mean that it's flooded and not currently passable.
I don't think they mean that the current carried the bridge off.
