Just changed my username to Pepo1216. Does that help?

How do I find Wish List? I see registry's for babies and weddings.

It won't come up until you create a list. Just let me know when you've started a list and then I'll probably be able to find it.

Not sure if these links have been posted yet. (WAFB is discussing them on air at the moment.)
Aerial imagery of the flood waters.
Main page showing imaged areas on map. (Takes a good while to clear up the images.)
Page with a slider to show before and after in certain places.

post katrina, we had a guy name Frank Arsaga restore our house in Chalmette.
He took it from day one, clean out to full restore. He handled scheduling all contractors and our house which had 4ft of water was completely restored in less than 6 months.
Not sure if he does anything in the BR area but it's worth lookikng into.

Okay I just started it, and even searched for it to make sure it shows up and it did (It's Pepo1216 still). Right now there's one item.

I've been looking for you. How did your house fare???
Posted on 8/17/16 at 11:15 am to Festus
The water stopped right before the door so we were really lucky. Our neighbors had water up on the door. And the houses at the corner had a foot or so in them. The water stopped coming up around 4 pm Sunday.
It was amazing how bad that one spot was but most of Shenandoah was dry. If you lived one street over you had no idea anything was going on.

Great. Like I said before, I'll most likely add most of the stuff on the list during the evening, so be on the lookout by then if possible. And thanks for the offer btw.

Can you send me an email at SheepTD@gmail.com?
It seems like you're close to the pulse of that area and it would be nice to have someone to text/email about what's going on.... I'm going out of town this weekend.
If we're both from St. Amant, we probably know each other anyway.

Every hour, on the hour, I was running a recon circle to every spot where the water was coming in, and making a mental note by which mailbox it was at. The guy that lived on Antioch around where the edge of the water ended was drinking a beer, and giving rise measurements/hour. Just roll down the window and ask.
Even if you weren't as close as you, the stress level was there, not knowing when it was going to stop. I'm truly glad to hear you didn't suffer any damage.

Thanks man. We had a guy across the street measuring elevations and water levels too. He was pretty spot on about how much time each house had. Most of the houses had people in lawn chairs out on the front porch hanging out and watching it come up. Everyone knew there wasn't much we could do.

Whats the current best route from Houston/Lake Charles?
Google maps has been showing since about Monday to exit near Iowa and take 90 and get back on 10 in Lafayette. Is this still true? I havent really heard anything about west of Lafayette so seeing 10 being closed there is just odd.
