So I assume we're talking FEET of water on 22/Weber City/936/937?

My parents didn't flood on Savoy road EVER. Now they live around the corner on Daniel Guedry road. They have 7 inches in their house at last check. Their old house on Savoy Road has water in it.

The cemetary next to Holy Rosary is flooded.

My daughters yard is a lake. She is very near the corner of 431 and 429. New River is in her back yard. Well I should say her whole yard now.

My best friend's house off Robert road is taking on water. Didn't flood in '83.

It's just the worse situation out there.

Keystone of Galvez folks wanting to leave:

Go to the back by Devall street and you can catch a boat. They are launching boats there.

nglake update: I know of just one storm drain causing a small leakage on the road. It is on corner of Springtree/Hillrose. Very very minor water. That storm drain was always higher than others since last 2 days. All other drains I observed were at least 4-5 inches below their openings.

Can you explain this further? We live in this area.

It should only rise there for a little while longer. The amite created in port Vincent 45 minutes ago. Gold place in st amant will lag about an hour and a half behind that if I had to guess and should be falling by dark tonight.

Any way to confirm this crest?

For recon on apparent said levee breach... but sounds false as that area seems dry.

New River Pumps (marvin braud pump station) have Officially stopped working?

IIRC, several dozen pages back, it was mentioned that the pumps were shut off because there was just too much water, and nowhere for it to go. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

They were talking to the Iberville Sherriff on WBRZ and man, I couldn't understand a word he was saying. Even tried turning on the captions and it was even more confusing. Starting talking about Paris and Greece according to the captions.

The failure of so many significant gauges at such a critical time is upsetting.

With all the money allocated to homeland security, and to the NWS, etc. you would hope the equipment is modern and maintained properly.

Mainly the pumps aren't effective right now. The water is too high.

It would be like trying to pump water out of a boat that has already sunk

Ponderosa facing toward Old Hammond. ETA It gets deeper the further down Ponderosa you go.
