Do as you see fit, but this wasn't exactly an AT&T customer service screw up or something.
I'd say making sure a switching center isn't in a low lying area would be something to consider. Yes I know the area wasn't supposed to flood.
Anyways, they got service back within 18 hours to manageable.

I just passed the Burbank and Gardere intersection like 20 minutes ago and there was no water on the road. Just some standing water in parking lots and ditches but that was there yesterday.

Is NOLA to BR passable via hwy 30?
I've heard rumblings of 30 being closed at some point?
Tried to follow the thread for a few pages but to no avail

So Ward Creek rising, Fountain rising at Highland and Siegen and Burbank/Bluebonnet, Gardere rising, but fountain not rising at Win Dixie. Sounds like perhaps the Highland/Segen/bluebonnet and Gardere area is where spillover is occuring into the surrounding land in that case.

We are staying around Burbank gardere area with a boat.

FWIW, supposedly their issues stemmed from a switching center being flooded. Do as you see fit, but this wasn't exactly an AT&T customer service screw up or something.
Which is even worse because they supposedly invest a lot of research into where these switching centers go. And the fact that they're still having issues 3 days later is even more ridiculous. Again, they're the only carrier having issues right now and they're the biggest and needed the most. It's not a good situation for them.

Germany at George Rouyea is now flooded. Cannon at George Rouyea is re-flooded and much worse than Friday/Saturday. 0.9 miles east of Rouyea is flooded on Black Bayou and 431.

Posted on 8/15/16 at 12:28 pm to Paul Allen
Oh yeah, other than having a fricking gator in the pond. The water is about 6 inches from being back to normal
