Are we really scrutinizing families of children that went through college and earned an education?

Some of you are so myopic it’s not even funny.

Can you give me one reason that the people in question deserve a pass?

Well honestly, graduating med school is such a bigger accomplishment than undergrad that it’s more understandable.

Graduations are trashy, private school didn't prepare me for the "real world"

Any and all graduation activities are stupid as hell

Some people are just way more enthusiastic about the stupidity than others

And yes, it's annoying and rude.

No, not selfish at all. After all, they earned it.

The lack of care for ruining the moment of the person behind you is kind of the issue.

When you make it all about you, criticism is warranted.

Why can't they search bags and confiscate airhorns and cowbells? Should be doing bag searches anyway.

Quit downplaying it

This isn’t about expressing joy. We aren’t the joy police saying you shouldn’t be happy.

People are simply asking you to not try to be so loud and obnoxious that the next person’s name can’t be heard or they have to delay the ceremony.

It’s amazing how dumb some of you are

If we were eating a restaurant and I was the table next to you and after every bite everyone in my family went "mmmmmmmm whoooooooooo boy is that good!!!!!!!!" your response wouldn't be that we should shut up and stop annoying everyone else, it would be that we're allowed to be as obnoxious as we want?

Are black people better athletes? Or is that “home training”?

You tell me. How many black world class swimmers are there?

EDIT: Just FYI, I’m at my daughter’s track meet right now and the fastest seeded heat for 15yo boys in the 800 just finished. First place, white dude. Second place, white dude. Total white dudes in the heat: 3.

I asked you to answer the question since you know so much about race and biology.

Your swimming situation proves nothing unless you show me a bunch of black swimmers out there that just aren’t good enough to make it to the top

your daughters track meet... case closed

You don’t even have to answer the athlete question since the definition of athlete is vague.

I’ll give you an easier one. Does the average height of humans vary between different races?

but now we are analyzing how families react to kids doing something good by graduating college??
Yes, we are. Those families are rude self-centered glops of shite who, in all of their low-rent ridiculousness step all over the moment for students behind their idiot who also earned the right to graduate.
