The graduation stereotypes are not exaggerated

I’m sitting in LSU’s right now and it’s amazing how over dramatic and flat out stupid these family members act. It’s ridiculous to act like that in any public setting let alone a university graduation. Some of these people are still yelling while the next name is being called. Apparently it’s more of a publicity moment for the family members than anything

Rant over.

When you're the first to graduate, the family can't act like they've been there before.

All on state taxpayer dimes too. Not for anything academic but for simply being born a particular color and finishing high school

Are we really scrutinizing families of children that went through college and earned an education?

Some of you are so myopic it’s not even funny.

It’s the truth. One thing is to criticize those scrubs who barely got out of high school and aren’t contributing absolutely anything to society, but now we are analyzing how families react to kids doing something good by graduating college??

It’s selfish as frick to act like your kid is the only in graduating and scream and blow air horns as the next two or three graduates are called.

The criticism is compely deserved and the stereotype is true for a reason

When you act like an animal to where the family of the next person being called can barely hear their kids name? Yeah I’m gonna react negatively to that, like most reasonable people
