but now we are analyzing how families react to kids doing something good by graduating college??

Yes. I can't believe you aren't following this. It's not tough.

Are we really scrutinizing families of children that went through college and earned an education? Some of you are so myopic it’s not even funny.

This is all a result of a certain group of people screaming racism

Society is sick and tired of everything being racism and screaming back act like an adult

No, not selfish at all. After all, they earned it.

So they should be able to start a flash mob on stage and grab the mic for a freestyle. After all, they earned it.

Each grad should get a choice of "regular" or "act a fool" graduation.

First up are the regular grads. Audience members who do anything other than applaud during regular graduation will be ejected, and possibly tazed or pepper sprayed.

After the regular grads finish, there is a short intermission for them and their families to leave if they want.

Then "act a fool" graduates will be called, and their idiotic families can air horn and whoop and holler all they want.

Sorry but frick that. I went to Southeastern’s graduation last year and there was quite a few families that acted a fool in the stands when their grad’s name was called and it made it to where you couldnt even hear the next grad’s name being called.

FWIW. While this particular observation may pertain to black families at graduation, I think it is indicative of the general “frick everyone else” attitude of society in general. You see it every day in the way people drive and act in public. It isn’t restricted to any particular race, sex, age or economic class.

You know why people were polite to each other and acted with class in public 200 years ago? Because you would get shot for being an a-hole. There are no practical consequences for boorish behavior anymore so there isn’t an incentive to act right.

The level of theatrics is amazing to me. It’s got to be something in the DNA. Go to a church, funeral, in the classroom, it’s so much attention seeking.

It had to be more than just cultural. It has to be something like in the chromosomes.

Bet you’d be singing a different tune if it was your family member who’s name you couldn’t hear.

Nobody shouted and acted like an idiot when I graduated because everyone expected me to graduate.

Pretty sad commentary on what some parents expect of their kids.
