I sure as hell did. Swore my oath on Sept. 25, 2001. Wanted my family name to be among those who stepped forward after 9-11.

My uncle lost an eye in the Battle of the Bulge
My dad served in the Army during Vietnam
My brother was killed in the Pentagon on 9/11
My two cousins served a tour each in Afghanistan
I think my family has given enough blood for this country.
