Ebay sells "Tire Puncture Rounds Nail Spikes". Would it be possible that it would look like a razor after being run over and stuck in the tire?

True, but when I googled "punctured tire kidnapping", I got much different results.

With a slow leak, creep follows her, hoping the woman stops in a more isolated area with no cameras.
Murder of Leesa Gray - Wikipedia
quote:
According to official sources, the victim, 16-year-old Leesa Marie Gray, a student of Itawamba Agricultural High School, was working as a part-time waitress at her uncle's restaurant for the summer before the senior year of her high school. On that night itself, Gray completed her work shift and on the way back home, Gray's car had a flat tire and she could not go home. It was at this point when a 35-year-old Marine named Thomas Edwin Loden Jr. (alias Eddie Loden) approached her at around 10.45pm and began talking to her, assuring her that he was a Marine and he could help her settle the flat tire problem.[2][3]

Who's to say?
Perhaps some other beleaguered mother considerately left a cart right beside her favorite parking spot.
She popped the tots in and sashayed right into Walmart.

But, she doesn't "have" the cart once she has "returned" it.
Now she is stuck carrying two armloads of youngens, with leftovers hopefully following.
This happened just a couple of days ago.
NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio June 4, 2024— A 3-year-old boy was fatally stabbed by a woman as he sat in a grocery cart in a supermarket parking lot. Investigators said Tuesday that they believe it was a random attack.
The boy's mother also was stabbed, but her injuries were not life-threatening, said Sgt. Matt Beck, a detective with North Olmsted police.
Officers arrested 32-year-old Bionca Ellis, of Cleveland, while she was walking away from the scene with a knife in her hand on Monday, police said. She was being held on a charge of aggravated murder.
Ellis was inside the Giant Eagle grocery when she saw the boy and his mother near the front of the store and then followed them into the parking lot in North Olmsted, a Cleveland suburb, Beck said.
The boy's mother was about to load her groceries into her vehicle when Ellis ran at them with a knife, stabbing both of them, police said. The boy later died at a hospital.
The county medical examiner identified the boy as 3-year-old Julian Wood. His mother, Margot Wood, was treated at a hospital, police said. Investigators said Ellis had no known previous interactions with the mother and her son.
Calls to a listing for Ellis went unanswered Tuesday. It was not clear whether she has an attorney.
North Olmsted Mayor Dailey Jones released a statement on the incident saying, in part, "our hearts go out to the two victims of what appears to be a random act of violence." LINK

Because returning to the car is difficult, while carrying
1. purse or diaper bag
2. bitty baby
3. lap baby
and trying to direct, without hands a
4. tired, on the verge of tantrum, three-year old
I ain't saying it's not possible. I am saying it's not worth being that vulnerable just to return a cart.
If there is an easy way to do this, please share.

If someone attempted to carjack you or take your child, you would smear them into the asphalt of the parking lot. It would be a funny story about why your hand is bruised.
But -
Could this woman do the same? Especially if she was holding other children at the time?
And that's why she ain't worried about that cart, and she's telling other mamas about it.

The lady that posted the TikTok has three children under three. So, two of them aren't walking, or at least never walk in the desired direction.
When she's returning to her car from the buggy corral, she is carrying two children, with no hand free to hold the three-year-old's hand.
Someone could easily scoop up that oldest child and run. And all Mama Hen could do about it is stand there holding her remaining two babies and holler.

Please do not leave children unattended. It is unsafe.
There was once a time when stores provided an escort to your car and loaded your purchases. When did civilization end?
