I think my brother had to read that book at lsu … I haven’t read it

Maybe Pope Mingo will write a book:

Meat, Fruit, Exercise

I'm about to start that diet too and have been talking to him about it.

Well, BOTH are repulsive and BOTH are being shove down our throat as part of an Elites' same evil, insane agenda.

if we want to get into the future of food, I'll eat bugs all day before I eat lab grown meat

Your call, but that makes THREE repulsive soon-to-be-coerced "RESET" changes.

Yeah I asked him a few questions, too. I need to recalibrate our menus and mindset. We are doing something wrong

Point being, bug eating is not anti-God

THE over-arching Point:

A COERCED Bug-Eating diet (which is being presented as "fine & dandy AND acceptable") is part & parcel of an upside-down, abnormal agenda and "Reset" component.

Eating bugs is far less repulsive than half the foods most people eat on a daily basis.

No one has ever shoved a bug down my throat.

In fact, you have to actively seek out these things in order to eat them.

But ok.

Ok, dude, I literally said that in the last paragraph of my reply

You’re kinda being an oppressor, not a liberator - chillax

It’s a shame I gotta make sure I don’t buy plant based chicken nuggets for my kids at the store

I think John the Baptist was from a different tribe than the others in Israel but I don't know. He was a bit different than the average Hebrew. I do know that under the old testament that bug eating wasn't allowed in Isreal under the law.

in almost every iteration, it is framed as a snack

Again, how much of a reduction in green house gasses from livestock will this promote if it is only meant to replace jerky and vending machine snacks? Every "iteration" seems to mention that as a driving reason.

Yes, he was from a ‘tribe’ of desert dwellers, a really holy sect that expected to see angels and stuff.

Locusts, grasshoppers, and crickets are allowed in Leviticus.

No idea. That is mostly feel good nonsense. Its fodder that you have apparently swallowed whole.

What I do know is that the world population is continually growing. Growing large livestock is resource intensive. It takes time, land, and food to grow livestock and lots of it.

We have an extremely low intensive protein source that is largely untapped. Insects takes little space, little time, and little food to grow.

Most of the world is poor. Cheap, easily grown protein seems like a no brainer and more palatable than lab grown meat.

I see what you’re going for, but those two don’t have much in common to me.

I try a few bugs once on a field trip, and all of a sudden I’m a Portland hipster.
Never crossed my mind to spin it as a political motivation.
