Navy blue 69 Buick Wildcat with a big gas guzzling 430 cubic inch engine with a four barrel carburetor. Car was scary fast. That big four barrel would jerk the whole car forward when it kicked in. Remember it kicking in once when I was already doing 90 mph.

I got a ticket two weeks after I got my license. The state trooper wrote out, Reckless driving, 70 in a 55, changing lanes without giving a signal, and running a red light. When I asked him why he didn't just give me a speeding ticket, he said he thought writing it for all of those offenses would have an impact on how my parents punished me. He was right.

Front seat was bench, as well as back. It was like having bunk beds, front and back. Back in the day, when you drove, no seatbelt, left hand on the steering wheel, and gf right up next to you, right arm around her shoulders. That was the go to move. frick a center console.

Nova owners have quite a tightknit group. The 66-69 group always seem to hang together at shows I go to. Nice guys, all of them.
If you ever find that storage facility you think that car is parked in, call me. I'll bring the jumper cables.

75 Ford Flatbed around 1991. Kinda like "if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball"...."if you can drive a 75 Ford flatbed in 1991, you can drive anything after that!"

Busted my knuckles twice on the dash shifting into 3rd, after that palm shifted into third from then on! That was one sloppy shifting POS!

1980 GMC Sierra 2500 manual transmission. Farm truck I used when I was 10 years old. No brakes, 500 gallon diesel tank on a flatbed, leaked every fluid imaginable. Had to add oil every hour
