Sorry man. Lost mine a month ago. The pain doesn’t go away it just hides itself better as time passes.

Lost my brother 4 years ago and my mom in February this year. Was able to make it down in time to see both and say good bye before they passed.

I wouldn’t ban them; but they do need serious reflection on their life. I get that there are many shite parents, but to downvote someone in deep grief well….the Downvoters are shite as well.

I lost my mother earlier this year. It sucks for my dad. She was 78 and had CHF from a virus they say. My dad is 80 and looks and acts like he’s 60. He is still in his prime and had to watch the love of his life slowly die. He’s a bit rudderless and lonely.

So sorry for your loss, mud. Been there recently with my dad and I still miss him terribly every day.

You and yours are in my prayers.

Sorry for your loss. Lost my Dad 9 years ago. And to all you that still have your parents, call them everyday. Old people love the call. Even just for a couple of minutes

I've only got about a year left with Mrs. Tantal. She's 44. She's fine now, but the end is going to be brutal.

Very sorry for you. I lost both parents before I was 20, I never got to relate to them as adults, my in-laws treated me as their son, that helped a lot.

Since I'm a lot older now than my parents ever were, I have seen a lot of friends and family die. There is a secret to relieving the grief, focus on helping others with their suffering. That helped me a lot when my mother passed just months after dad, both young.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your dad. I have one parent in a rehab center with her second broken hip. The other parent is in bed with severe back pain. Both 88 years old. Neither will consider assisted living. It's gonna get real ugly soon.

Sorry for YOUR loss.

He is in a better place. Try to take solace in that if you can.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

Lost both mine in their mid 50s to cancer within 4 months a few years ago. Sat through hospice with my mom. It's a fricking bitch.

Allow yourself time to grieve.

I wish I had words to help, but there really aren't any.

Lost my Dad earlier today to heart-attack. All I can say is, if you still have your parents...call them or visit them often.

I’m very sorry that you lost your dad. Told my wife this morning that I had a dream about mine last night. He’s been gone 12 years and it gets easier but I still miss him every day.

I’m so very sorry. Just finished praying for you. I truly hope you feel at least a little but of peace and comfort from the prayers that have been offered up for you here and elsewhere.
