I feel simply finding someone that you can trust. A friend , professional, whatever and truly open up and be honest. Mostly be honest with yourself( often times that's the most difficult) and dont isolate. Force yourself to do the things that seem intimidating. Its a process but not impossible. Good luck

Man I feel for you. I had a yellow lab for 13years. Hearing the vet tell me it was time to put her down. Sitting in that room rubbing her ears like she always loved was the hardest thing to do. She will never be forgotten. It gets better with time but you never forget. Now 4 years later I just got a chocolate lap puppy she brings so much joy to my family and myself. Hang in there.
