Your building resistance to common bugs. They make you stronger.

Always wondered why the military didn’t open warfare labs at daycares. Everyone was sick all the time.

I’d throw up everyday if that meant keeping my kids. Pussy.

This is true, but I have four kids and thirteen grandkids (so far) and my gosh they have been a lot of fun. Decompressing right now from a sleepover the night before last - almost two year old and a just turned three year old, and both wild boys.

Just wait until you catch hand foot & mouth disease. Good times, I’ve heard.

I caught it the week after I graduated high school. Best I could tell a parent brought their kid that had it into a store I worked at and he passed it to me. shite was not fun.

The silver lining there is if they are getting cooties and the rhea from other kids, it'll give everyone involved stronger immune systems.
My kids constantly got sinus infections during their infant years. since they've been in regular elementary and high school, they hardly ever get sick.

The dark side of having kids
You are the luckiest man in the world . Instead of making callous comments like this just appreciate those gifts you were given. Anyone who thinks this is a cute comment shame on you , too.

We start having our two year old daughter be around more kids and I’ve had two in the last 6 months. Spent last night unleashing an unholy nuclear warfare on my toilet from both ends a couple days after the aforementioned daughter threw up twice.
Wait until you have multiple. It is lots of fun. Youngest comes home with a fever, ends up throwing up multiple times. Trying to keep Tylenol or Motrin down, trying Pedialyte, and since kids are so dang tough, he shakes it off in about 12 hours, and now has an endless appetite and endless energy. Then the next afternoon my middle child starts aching and feeling bad. More throwing up. My oldest is in high school so not around her brothers all that much, but then my wife and I both start feeling a little weak. One sickness ends up hitting everyone in stages and when one is better the next one is up. 10 days of someone in the house either throwing up or recovering from it.

My husband lovingly calls our daughters "biological weapons" especially when they were little and in daycare.

Even I almost felt bad for continually telling him to toughen up and quit being a bitch
