Tipping, A/C, all you can eat buffets are just not done here.
It’s more of a consumer attitude than anything else.
So you maintain that they are sitting on piles of money but just not spending it?
They are poorer.

They’ve been getting much worse and longer heat waves the past 30 years. Glaciers are disappearing quickly throughout the alps, like the rest of the world.
There’s a reason for all this that isn’t so popular with the crowd around here.

If people bought so much into climate change, why the hell didn’t they have air conditioning? That should be the first thing you invest in if you believe in manmade climate change.
AC doesn't make people more miserable so it obviously isn't "green"...or something

Average days over 95 degrees between 2015-2025 = 24
I’m not sure that passes the smell test for me, as I was in Europe (including Rome) on multiple occasions during “heat waves.”
My first question is, did the methodology change.
My second is, were the instruments used to measure this increase moved.
IIRC, Australia and New Zealand moved their measuring stations to places where the heat was more pronounced. Think moving it from a Park, to the plaza of tall, glass office buildings.
Global warming becoming a political tool was when the data really began to “skew.”
It is warming, but to that degree? Not in my personal experience.

I actually saw a pretty interesting TikTok the other day from a Chinese creator when asked about why places like Mexico can create free social healthcare but the US can't
His response was basically that places like Europe and Mexico have to provide these things as a way to keep their populace ignorant from their widespread lack of competitiveness and sluggish economies whereas places like China and the US don't need to do the same and will continue to dominate because of that
Was an interesting perspective

There have been multiple instances of the gatekeepers (scientists) manipulating data in these cases.

Because, as they so frequently do, greenies stumbled into another conundrum.
