The Cabildo and Jackson Square statue are next

The Cabildo is a state museum and should be protected by the Nat'l Guard and LSP. But I fully expect the heathens to continue on the revisionist destruction and attempt to loot and burn the historical building.

Why? There was no attempt on them at the protests last week.

You people have short memories. When Landrieu was going through the process of taking down R.E.Lee the radicals were feeling the power, the Jackson statue and the Cabildo were threatened on air several times. I remember one group in Congo Square trying to march over and start. I don't remember how they stopped the mob.

A ton of money was spent to rebuild the Cabildo when it burned in the 1980’s. It would be interesting to go find some quotes from politicians about why the Cabildo is an important part of NO and US history and needs to be rebuilt.

Well the Cabildo and such are history of the Spanish and French rule before the Louisiana Purchase. I don't expect the protesters to know history however so everything's fare game to them. They probably think Jackson fought in the Civil War. They have no idea. When Lee was being taken down the LEADER of Take them Down wanted to rename General DeGaulle Ave in Algiers. They thought he was a Civil War General. THEY'RE IDIOTS is its all in play.
