I liked them better as Phried Ice Cream.

Was awesome when he had the female singer in the band as well. I think she left in the late 80's to do something else. I think I have his CD somewhere. Damn, I am old.

I’m sure our paths crossed and I remember a Jason working there but I’m trying to picture his face.
I worked there in 2002.

Fun times. Was in the band Anomaly in that timeframe. Always a great time at the Caterie

In the 80’s I remember The Killer Bees and also Joe King Carrasco.

A lot of those college party bands just fade away as members realize they are getting too old for college party scene and need to get real jobs.
I remember Lazy K being a popular band from my time at LSU from 2005 on.

Lazy K was always a blast to see at the Caterie. That place would be so packed. Their set list was always so good and so different from the other cover bands.

When is the College Meets Jefferson reunion tour?

Reminds me of the older couple that was always at the bar off of 3rd downtown. This was early 2000’s. Name slips my mind. They would take the whole dance floor and cut a rug.

Thirty five zero was another I remember (one of those words was written as a number, but I can’t remember which).
Janka Joe was my favorite to see at the Caterie in 2001-2002. Fun times.

I remember for a short time there was band calling Losing Anna who was pretty solid.
Their frontman played piano and they were like piano pop almost like the Fray. I don’t think they lasted long or maybe they weren’t local to BR. Maybe Shreveport?
