I don't understand their logic here, isn't alcohol one of the biggest markups in a restaurant? Giving away $30 worth of booze should cost the restaurant less than $30 worth of food.
I guess they want u to order food and then pay for the booze, rather than just coming and getting drinks and dipping.

Exactly, the idea is to get you into the door and that most people probably will spend more than $30 on average so in the end it’s a net positive for them. It’s also good marketing to get their name out there.

DG sells the same name brand toilet paper as other stores. You may encounter the occasional meth head while shopping, but I’ve never felt unsafe.
