I know two girls who got it by saying they were "hair stylists". Both got about $15k and are currently in jail on drug related charges. Wonder what that money was spent on?

I personally know a couple that had an Oil Field rental equipment company with 15-20 employees.
When covid hit they let everyone go, then filled and received 1 million in PPP Loan money they never had to pay back.
Three months after getting it the girlfriend bought a G-Wagon , a 300K house and they took several vacations.
I can't stand them and would love to turn them in

I had a few customers whose businesses were either booming or relatively unaffected by covid who took out PPP loans. It was a hell of a deal given the inflation that would come, even for those who are paying them back
sold a good bit of equipment due to those loans freeing up room for capital purchases.
