It's an insane amount of fraud.

and as of Oct 2022, 755 BILLION of it was forgiven. Borrowers don't have to pay it back. It might be over a trillion by now.....

Yeah shite was rampant.

Also many small businesses that had been cheating on their taxes for years had a little comeuppance when it was based on previous year returns.

All with printed money. We’re all paying for them now.

We did not give out $755 Trillion in PPP loans. It was approximately $750 Billion. A shiite ton of money but no where near a quadrillion

Our reaction to covid was so retarded. It would've been better to just let a few million fat fricks and old people die than to shut down the economy for a couple years.

A.k.a. fishermen and shrimpboat captains in the south.

The fraud was not only rampant, but the government didn't seem to give a single shite about it either. It's no wonder that people nowadays expect handouts for everything....because the government gives it to them with little to no repercussion.

Meanwhile some honest mom-and-pop business that actually needed the financial assistance likely got tagged by the IRS to be audited after they got their PPP loans.

The CVD epidemic has barely even started. Fat fricks will be dropping by the millions for decades to come.

The PPP money is gone. The fraud will never really be dealt with.

The battle is the EIDL LOANS and whether the SBA turns those over and pursues collection with finance department - Treasury (holding SS payments and benefits, tax refund holding, reporting on credit, etc) or they get ignored.

$62 BILLION past due right now.

As scammy as it was, in my opinion, you have to accept the bullshite with the real help.

Let’s just say there was 40% fraud.

Well that other 60% saved the country.

If gov is going to force business to close, and the people support that, then the gov and the people have a duty to give a lifeline for business to see through that closure.

And then accept that X number of people will try to find ways to scam it.

While you're right the rampant inflation afterwards included with the rampant fraud completely negated all the benefits. The American government is a scam.
