Your post history indicates a love of Putin. Are you wishing he was banging your Mom? Has she traveled to Russia lately while your Dad was in NY OR Boston?

Just thinking out loud.

Nope. It’s more of a roommate situation.

I'm in one of these situations, it's not all bad.

To me that is not a big deal. I travel and I know there have been times when I call my wife, from the hotel, and during the conversation she will ask where I am.
Who really cares whether it’s Boston, NY or Dallas? Sometimes I just fail to mention it.
On the other hand I have a buddy who does not get along with his wife at all. They talk 5 times a day, when he travels, and go over every detail of what they did since the last call.

How about a cruise (not a trashy one out of NOLA though), just the two of you.

2 weeks ago my dad was at a meeting. My mom thought it was in NYC. It was in Boston.

A secret trip to “the city of “brotherly” love” huh? Sounds like I know why your dad is doing all this sneaking around

OP, I agree it’s unfortunate when two married people become roommates. Your dad should truly retire and then your parents can lay around naked having sloppy wet sex all day.

Home for thanksgiving with my family and I’m watching my parents interact and it’s sad. My father (C-suite retired) is on a ton of non-profit boards and leaves early in the morning and my mom does her own thing. They don’t talk or even have each other’s schedule. It’s really sad.

You sound like a cry baby bitch. That is what is sad. This has the makings of the C-suite in your world being exposed for accounting irregularities and is replaced with a DOC # and then the only tools for survival you have gained in your silver spoon years of existence to survive are to cry about your life on a message board. Jesus grow up.

Out of curiosity, how old are you, how long have you been married, and how do you define from time to time?

Serious question, is your mom in the beginning stages of dementia? If caught early, it can be stopped in its tracks.

Wrong. It cannot be stopped. Drugs can SLOW the progression for as long as they work but when they stop working its like falling off a cliff.

Just throwing this out there,
You & the lady should take a vacay to a place where marijuana is legal, eat a 5mg edible and enjoy your day around town. If she is open to it & you are open to it, make it happen. This experience will be memorable an fun at the same time. It also may re-kindle the love you’ve had for your wife all the years.
You can thank me later.

You should inquire about their sex life while eating Thanksgiving dinner

I should have been a bit more explicit. Back in the 90s and 00s when he was busy working for a F500 company and I NEVER saw him, they almost always travelled together, took weekend trips etc. and were attached at the hip. Now they travel alone. It’s also pretty glaring how out of sync they’ve become.
