My wife and I have been married over 43 years. We live together and have never spent a night apart in anger. She has gone on vacation with her family and I have gone on hunting trips. She has a routine and I have mine. We are together most of the time but she works out and spends a day a week with her parents. We are happy but we don't need to be in each other face all the time to be happy and in love. You might be reading things wrong.
