fricks don't even realize we are one election away from being jailed for having the wrong opinions even in conservative areas.

But she could go steal up to $750 from somebody and they won't do a damn thing to her!

The shutdowns of businesses constitute a taking which without just compensation is unconstitutional as a violation of the 5th Amendment - entitling the aggrieved party to not just the compensation due, but attorney's fees for the civil rights violation (as this was done under the color of law [1983 violation]).
here’s the question... no property was taken. The only thing that was was time, and everyone has a different value of it. Just as shutdowns hurt some businesses, they help others, particularly if it’s costing money to operate.

You can make an argument that time is considered property of the business.

there's such a thing as a constructive taking. where there is no taking of your physical property, but because of government action/conduct under color of law, your business/income is adversely impacted. It's not easy to prove/win, but it's possible.

maybe if hairdressing was a more time sensitive thing, but it’s not against the law to have a bad hair day

If you think about it, the $1200 stimulus was kind of meant to compensate us for the general inconveniences and such, and if she was out of work, she could have probably got unemployment

So let me get this straight. Some guy in California can get caught for stealing 2 cars/burglary in a single day and not go to jail, but opening your business can get you sent to jail?

Democrats:
- Release prisoners
- Set bail to 0 for theft, burglary, and other non misdemeanor crimes.

Also Democrats:
- lock up hard working tax payers for.....working?

It’s like I’ve taken crazy pills. Hard to even recognize some sectors of this country as America at the moment.
