The shooting happened at about 4:15 a.m. Wednesday in Burleson, about 45 miles southwest of Dallas. Police say the officer was taken to a Fort Worth hospital and his condition wasn’t immediately known. The shooting is at least the fourth involving a Texas law enforcement officer in recent weeks, including last month’s fatal shooting of a Texas state trooper during a traffic stop near Mexia, about 75 miles southeast of Dallas.

I mean...thats not the best argument.
The Patriot Act is a one of the biggest attacks on personal and civil liberties our government has ever perpetuated against its citizens....but like....we know "why" they did it.
A cop being aggressive or over-forceful against a citizen isnt justified simply because he's on edge (reasonably or not) about his dangerous job. Its not a free pass for the cop.
Each situation should be policed specifically based on the aspects of the situation present.
