Texas - Louisiana Border Virus Check question

radio call-in show here in Birmingham had some woman saying "we need to go to Houston but have heard the state troopers are stopping all cars",etc. which led to follow up calls like they are "quarantining all out of state residents for 14 days" other wild stuff.

Texas is quarantining everyone from Louisiana for 14 days in the Texas visitor’s locker room with no AC.

Its true. Just went thru their Monday and luckily for me they were letting everyone thru without checking but when i came back thru Wednesday they were checking everyone except truckers. They have big signs posting this as well.

My sons girlfriend (she is a freshman at LSU and no pics) came to stay with us for a few days last week. She came from LC and was stopped at the border rest stop where she presented her paperwork. She said it didn't take long. She basically drove up, handed them her paperwork and drove off. We live outside Houston and she put our home as her quarantine address. The local police contacted her while she was here and had her stand outside and wave to them as they drove by as a quarantine check. I was surprised but they are following up.

On I-20 you have to get off at an exit where there are 6-10 Troopers and they just flag you through, came over this morning from Monroe
