Terrible loss-An ER Nurse in Lafayette died of Covid

This story from this morning's paper is terrible. The Advocate A Lafayette ER nurse died of Covid over the weekend. She appears to have been young, in apparent good health, and yet she went from healthy to gone in a few days. Terrible tragedy.

She’s a friend of a friend. She didn’t die of covid. She died of a freak incident brain-eating amoeba or some shite.

I’m going to refrain from stating the specific details of what happened out of respect, but, broadly speaking, her fever from covid essentially created ideal circumstances for the bacteria that was already present and accelerated its progress which ultimately caused her death.

I'm am not anti-covid vaccine. I think it's likely a smart play and got one. But these rare instances of young healthy people dying from COVID are so rare, they should be treated like any other rare death from any other common virus.
Instead they get fearmongering headlines.

Its a shame that this is posted and made into a political issue. I don't know if the OP is doing it to prove something or that people are assuming he is.. But forget all the stupid shite with vaccines. This young ladies died.. Come on...

my mom passed a few weeks ago while I was in her room, she had tested positive for Covid a couple of months earlier but had shown no symptoms and eventually tested negative, when they came for her I stayed to make sure they didn't list the cause of death as Covid, which I'm sure they would have loved to add her as a statistic
