Also, Japanese population is decreasing, so lack of diversity and a very regimented society isn't helping them as a country at the moment.

Or is it…

I'm incredibly pained by the fact that OP didn't list the companies.

This one is kind of a technicality.

The oldest one I'm aware of in the US

A few notables:
quote:

Clothing: Brooks Brothers founded in 1818
When Henry Sands Brooks opened his first store, H. & D. H. Brooks & Co. in Manhattan, on April 7, 1818, Mississippi had only recently been added as the 20th state in the Union.

quote:

Chemicals: DuPont founded in 1802
E.I. du Pont and his family fled to America from France in 1799 due to the wild political climate of the French Revolution. Three years later, on July 19, 1802, du Pont broke ground on his first powder mills in Delaware, which he kept until he died. The company, which originally sold explosive powder, has grown with every passing year and is now an S&P 100 component.

quote:

Paper: Crane & Co. founded in 1801
The first Crane & Co. paper mill had a daily output of 2,500 pages of paper per day. Now, the former family business is printing money -- literally. Crane & Co. has supplied the United States Treasury with its currency paper since 1879.

quote:

Distilling: Laird & Company founded in 1780
In 1780, Robert Laird (who served in the Continental Army under George Washington) and his commercial distillery in Scobeyville, New Jersy, earned License No. 1 from the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

quote:

Ames (1774)
This tool company – which today makes garden hoses, reels and professional hand tools – was started in Massachusetts in 1774 by a blacksmith, Capt. John Ames.

quote:

Farming: Shirley Plantation built in 1613
Built to grow tobacco, the Shirley Plantation isn't just famous for being one of the oldest active businesses in the United States. Confederate General Robert E. Lee's parents were also married at the plantation in June of 1793, as his mother's family (the Hill Carters) have owned the land since 1738. They continue to own and run the plantation today, eight generations later.

Established in 1863, the Kaffie-Frederick General Mercantile in Natchitoches is the oldest general store in Louisiana.

Morris and Dickson Co. (Shreveport)— the largest family-owned pharmaceutical distributor in the U.S. — celebrates 175 years this year.

The business, which according to the family is the second oldest business in Louisiana, began to distribute pharmaceuticals in 1841.

quote:

Antoine's (New Orleans) The restaurant was started in 1840 by French immigrant Antoine Alciatore. Today, it is run by a fifth-generation family member, Bernard Guste, making it the oldest continuously owned family business in Louisiana, according to a study by Bryant College in Rhode Island.

The first that came to mind was the Rothschild banking empire that might have existed before 'bank' was a concept.

The two Japanese Buddhist related companies suggest that the Catholic Church might have some inclusion, but not a company per se.

Likewise Arab horse breeders.

The German House of Fugger goes back for around 600 years; merchants and bankers. There are still some rich Fuggers today.

Yet people in America are racist simply because they’re white. I wonder what the difference is.

The Japanese people are very industrious, and they have a love of fine craftsmanship. I buy Japanese noodles at the local Asian grocery, and they are always perfectly packaged (wrapped with a ribbon in a very nice box).

This, there’s a reason they industrialized first. It wasn’t just some island of randos that decided hey, trains look cool.
