I never have. Prices seem not realistic.

Anyone have insight?

EDIT: Biglego second link has good information. Thanks

Slave labor creates some low prices.

I bought my son a peacoat from that site for Xmas. It was as advertised and the reviews of the coat were spot-on.

It's like another Shien - stylish but inexpensive stuff.

I tried to purchase chlorine tablets or something that was ridiculously priced - I ended up canceling the purchase through my cc.

Yes.

The big difference being that they don't have the same incredible markup on their cheap chinese crap that your brick and mortar joints in the US have.

It has as much to do with market penetration pricing as low labor costs. I don't really understand the end goal but the focus is on getting active daily users, it is why the whole marketing campaign and interface are designed like a social interactive game.

If you can’t find a shady looking dude in a cheap suit to directly hand over all your personal information to, Temu is the next best thing. And they will even send you some cheaply made crap as a thank you.

The US government, your bank, your doctor, your internet provider, your cellphone service provider, etc. are all already giving up your personal information, either willfully or via incompetence and negligence.

I have always been reluctant to share my credit card information with the Chinese Government. By avoiding Temu (Which has some really-really nice looking stuff,) I am attempting to stay in the second tier cyber attack group.

Kills me to look at their give us your business ads. Everything looks so legit, shiny and nice.

I know, China already owns 1/4 of the land and businesses in the USA. They need to keep us happy for the time being. I guess Temu does that.

Please don't tell me that Chicken is a front for the Chinese embassy in Houston, or some sort of undercover agent and that he only lives in the USA to avoid winding up in some egg drop soup.

That last comment sounds bad. The actual threat could easily be turning him into some General Tso or Honey Sesame over fried rice.

Wife gets some odds and ends stuff there. It’s cheap cheap stuff. If you are looking for a tool or anything electronic don’t bother.
