Is TEMU a reliable website?

Hi Fam,

I’ve come across TEMU ads but the wife wants to order some kitchen items,
I have never used the site, has anyone used the site and had positive results?

Just wondering if it’s a Chinese site with low quality junk that looks better on the website than the actual item you purchased.

Any feedback would surely help,
Thanks

I've ordered a dozen or so items. I paid with Paypal and so far, no problems. The orders come in about a week. Not everything is good quality, but there are some neat things.

Baofeng radios.
Arancini mold/maker.
Battery operated salt and pepper grinders.
Kitchen tweezers. I ordered all sizes.
Piping bags and tips.
Fat skimming ladle.

The worst part is the 2-4 email ads per day. Nothing excessive.

Legit. Many things you see sold of Amazon may have come from Temu.

Not had an issue.

Funny timing, have a package coming in today

Ordered a watch repair kit that exceeded my expectations. Cheaper than Amazon.

Recently The New York Post ran an article with a link below. Article says they make massive use of stealing ID's and other nefarious activities. I deleted all my e mails from them and so far, I haven't had anything negative happen that I can detect.

LINK /

You may need to copy and paste the link as I didn't copy as a link.

interesting. I have used them a good amount. the products vary on quality but you can get a feel what is going to be legit. I have also returned several items that were defective. I had one return where they just said keep the stuff and offered me the $26 back or in credit. My ex uses them as well. I will only use the website now though and that makes more sense because it offers cash back via Rakuten. The app seems more suspect based on that article, but who knows.

It's a legit site to purchase stuff, but they are a data privacy nightmare. The app skims a ton of data that they have no business collecting.

I’ve been told it’s ok to order online but not to get the app. I haven’t had any problems.
