Not good.
My wife ordered a blouse, about $35.00., for granddaughter through, Amazon from China.
It was too small. Called Amazon to return it. Amazon replied, its expensive to ship it back to China. $17.00. Asked if they refunded 12 dollars would it be acceptable and would we keep the blouse.

It’s mostly junk. But some things all you need is junk.
I bought my sons some “crocs” that were like $2. Instead of the $30 or so they are in store. Purchased like that it’s perfect for.

All of the people saying don't bother apparently don't like getting things for really cheap, that aren't life and death necessities. Great kitchen utensils (tongs and such), a $25 espresso machine that works fine. I got a very cute $0.88 dress.

I have bought 12-15 items off Temu.
None were duds.
But like others have said - I don’t order anything expensive or that I may return.
It’s always silly stuff. Gag gifts. Pokémon toys for my nephews, etc.
Have to expect weeks for shipping.
But the quality is the same as the same cheap crap I buy from Amazon.

When you allow that false impression to creep into your mind you have given yourself permission to buy Chinese anything.
Non-Chinese made good exist in almost every sector of consumer goods. If you dislike China's control in the world make an effort to not spend your money with them. It takes a little work and it is never cheaper but the products you get instead are almost always better engineered and built. If I hear one more of my friends bitch about China while we are drinking a beer in their garage/shop filled with Chinese tools I may snap and drive one of those Harbor Freight picks into their brain through their eye socket (it might snap if I tried to go through the side of their skull).
