Louisiana has a prostitute that drugged a sports reporter and killed him. While not having the forethought that she was on camera in his hotel before using his credit cards at stores.

Georgia should actually be known as the ‘Peanut State’

Georgia is not actually THE Peach State.
Georgia is usually not even in the top 5-10 in peach production annually.

Little known history fact. Peachtree which stemmed from Standing Peach Tree along the Chattahoochee River, which was a Fort near present day Bolton Rd and the Atlanta Water Works (or whatever it is called now), was a bastardization of the term Pitch Tree. A tree that was coated with tar pitch to identify native land boundaries.

Shout out to Gaffney, SC though

And the Abbott Peach Stand at Cowpens

SC > GA in peach production.

California dwarfs all however.

The Susquehanna River is in the top 5 oldest rivers in the world. Older than the Appalachian Mountains.

US15 which runs along the Susquehanna must have the most adult bookstores per mile than any other road in the US. It is downright bizarre.

Well, the Georgia peach is Fair,
Kentucky, beyond compare,
Alabama's grand
(The state, not the band)

Now, the south has her diamonds,
And all of them are great,
But North Carolina
Is the cigarette state
