Beau Rivage for sure. If it is a busy day, they may make reservations, so check first. It is a hell of a fun time during the NCAA Basketball Tourny, but you do need reservations to get a table.

Not bad. Clientele in BR is worse. Usually a lot of Houston people coming over to gamble.

I stayed there last year and had no complaints for the hotel or the casino. Casino is a fun lively environment, and they've had live music the couple nights I've gone there. Better than L'Auberge LC imo. Not sure how much you care about gambling, but they do have a few 6:5 blackjack tables there, so avoid those if you want better chances.

It's not bad. It's a nice casino and the hotel rooms are great. It'd be cool to hang out for a weekend. Make sure to hit up good food places outside of the casino though.

- Darrel's of course
- Pronias - excellent muffeleta
- Seafood Palace

Clientele isn’t that trashy at all. Swimming pool area, well that varies. I come over from Houston and play golf there with customers all the time when it isn’t Africa hot. Minimal rif raff. You can even get picked up at the dock and go fishing. All of that stuff you mentioned would be a hoot at the Nugget.

The hotel rooms are actually nice. Vic and Anthony’s for steaks at night. It’s fun for a night or two. After that and you’ll start questioning your decisions.

Stayed there a while back, stumbled into my hotel bed about midnight, and realized the sheets on the freshly made bed had blood stains all over them

Good times

Idk about the trashy level but I hope it doesn't go out of business soon. I have $40 in chips I need to use.

Actually the BR State Capitol at 450'ft is taller; 7th tallest building in LA. NOLA has the Top 6

LC Lau'berge is 308 feet. The vacant hurricane beat up Cap One Tower in downtown LC is taller at 375 ft.

My mother n law really likes the Lazy River.

Well it’s lake charles

You’re gonna have a bunch of blue collar Kuntry boys with money in their pocket from XYZ small towns. It’ll be an interesting crowd that’s all.

The wind was just right when I stayed and the smell from the refineries was potent at the valet area for over a day. Then I noticed the nice smell inside, which tells me they are pumping in some kind of potpourri in the HVAC system to mask the stench.

I liked their restaurant options.
