One of my favs to fly in and out of. As said, give yourself a little time for the trams if you need to get from terminal to terminal but it’s been routinely voted as one of the better airports in the US.

If you have some time to roam around, they typically have several art installations installed around the airport that are pretty cool. Has some nice amenities as well.

A lot of fine talent walking through that airport. Sit at a bar with a good view of the scenery.

Best mid size airport in US. Well run, clean, efficient.

Food is good, not great depending on terminal

Cinnabon

Pack some self respect so you don’t buy this. You’re welcome.

Some of the replies were expected and

Good airport and taking the "trains" to the main terminal is easy peasy.

Easy airport to navigate, quick in and out- I live in Tampa and am thankful for it every time I have to go somewhere. If you have time, grab some food at Columbia House for some local flavor

It’s an airport. What more do you need to know?

I’ve flown to or through hundreds of airports around the world and there isn’t a great deal of difference except for food choices and smells.

If you have a handicap tag, you can park for free - so says my degenerate handicap bud.

He parks his van there for months and plugs it in and travels. Treats it like long term storage.

I love flying out of there, never really a long que for TSA. If you are in the SW terminal, check out Goody Goody near C31. All other options are stock unless you go into the main terminal with the Flamingo Art installation.

If you have a longer layover, get out and uber down to Ybor, get a cigar and some coffee, maybe hit up Sparkman Wharf.

I think it’s one of the best, most efficient airports in the United States. It’s a great airport

I was just there recently. It's actually a nice airport. I remember seeing a P.F. Chang's, but it was outside of security.

I ate at a Chick-Fil-A. There were out of soft drinks (or the machine wasn't working) so I ordered a lemonade to go with my salad. Then I flew somewhere else.

That's all I got.

It’s actually a good airport. I believe it got ranked one of the best airports in the country not to long ago.

Way better than Orlando.

Pretty convenient IMO and I will often fly in and out of there over MCO

I'll take TPA any day over MCO, pisses me off that Spirit discontinued the IAH-TPA flights for whatever reason. Was awesome getting a roundtrip for around $100ish but COVID murdered that.

Cigar City is a nice place to grab a couple of drinks.
