How does a 15 year old girl just walk out with man in his 40s? That's really weird. I'd think walking around the arena and to an exit, she could have alerted many people, if not law enforcement in the concourse.

i would guess he told her some BS about dad had medical issue and he was bringing her to meet up with him, thats usually the ploy those sickos use to make kids go along willingly

Idk man. 15 year old teen - young and impressionable. The guy could have convinced her something happened to her dad or he was waiting outside.

Don’t under estimate how dumb and naive kids are.

I'd like to know what her internet/texting history was in the weeks prior to this. I'm going to guess he lured her there. This doesn't add up. 15 year old girls are way too naive and way too trusting.

That's terrifying. I wonder how the man was able to convince her to go willingly.

Did she? I could see it as kidnapping instead.

You just can't let a teenage girl go anywhere alone.

I don't see that story on the KVUE website.

The link is to some outfit I don't consider a legitimate news source.

Can you provide a link to the KVUE story?

Stories like this make me both sad and angry at the same time. Some people are just willing to do anything and if someone killed whoever did this sick thing I wouldn't blink at it for a second

Looks like the useless police didn’t do Jack shite about this
quote:

In the release sent out by Fortenberry's office late last week, American Airlines Center, the Dallas Mavericks, the Dallas Police Department and the Oklahoma City hotel where the teen was found were all listed as parties that could have prevented the situation.
Fortenberry said the teen's father notified police at the game when he realized she was missing. But, according to Fortenberry, the father was told to report it to North Richland Hills Police, since that's where he lives.
The father said he was then told to go home.
He said he called North Richland Hills Police that night. Fortenberry said NRH police weren't able to help because, they said, the incident happened in Dallas.
"The family was frustrated," Fortenberry said. "After days of not getting any information from the Dallas Police Department and Dallas Police not taking any action, the family sought out the help of this agency in Houston.”

It was a white girl too so I’m surprised they couldn’t get off their arse to do anything.

Whoever has jurisdiction at the arena should have taken the report and done the investigation. Immediately.

Surveillance footage seen later that night showed the girl leaving the arena with a man, never returning to her seat at the game.

1. Have they identified the man yet?

2. If the guy is convicted in a court of law, can we bring back burning at the stake?

I teach high school kids. I have told them many times through the years that if anyone ever tries to kidnap them to fight like hell right then and there. It doesn’t matter if the perp has a gun, knife, whatever. Fight to the death if you have to before you let anyone take you to a second location - because it will be much worse if they get you somewhere private.

This girl is lucky she was found. I don’t know why she didn’t scream and make a run for it at the arena. Too scared maybe.

Regardless, I hope the perps burn in hell.

The most likely answer is that she was looking for drugs and the guy offered her some.

People typically don't go around kidnapping 15-year-old girls at basketball games.

The dad was probably bringing his dopehead teen daughter to a game and she ran off to do drugs.
