Have a buddy that is a driver. Wants to cross the picket line but they lose their insurance if they do. Screwed up situation for them.

Miserable job, they could get another one if they don’t like it. It probably is a tough job, but where else you going to make that kind of money with no college or even a technical school education?

I’m assuming you have to stay clean and sober, show up on time, work hard, and have a good driving record. That type of employee is incredibly hard to find, especially among those without a college or technical education.

Go through the whole interview, hiring, background check and training, all in about 2 weeks?

Use contract workers and hotshot services to fill the gap in the mean time.

Nope, fired and banned from further employment opportunities.

Yeah let’s see how that turns out.

Won’t have to deal with this ever again. So I’d say very well.

I wouldn't do that job for $100k... too many times I've talked to the UPS guy as he's dropping shite off at 9pm.

Wah wah
I wonder what they consider harassment. I’m the normal sense, that’s been illegal and such for a long time

You have zero idea on how collective bargaining works.

Especially how it pertains in right to work states….

Sounds like "Strike" insurance could be a thing:
Cover the scabs if the union feels like they should be in control of the company.

We get daily notifications telling us medical necessary shipments will be handled regardless of the strike situation. I am sure the hospitals will be prioritized by every shipper but regular business is going to suck.
