Although I think post is being facetious this idea is almost as bad as someone who forgets she is playing for her country not a political leader of a branch of her country’s government. If she really dislikes her country she shouldn’t have signed up to represent it. Although I am sure she will profit from being on team and on attention.
She has gotten even worse and more self-righteous, but Matches involving the USA are the only times I pay attention to soccer news (still don’t watch a lot). If Trump is motivating her to play even harder to win than that’s good for the USA.

The sad/funny thing is that there are idiots like the OP out there who will root against the US for this very reason, not realizing that every team left in the tourney hates trump more than team USA.
