Teachers are walking away from their careers in Alabama because of unruly students

I work with teens (not as a teacher) and kids today compared to ten years ago are night and day. This is in a good community no less. No fear. No respect for authority. No classrooms should have more than 25 students per class and this article says they have upwards of 35 per class.

Is being a teacher a career?

I thought it was just something girls did between graduating from college and getting pregnant.

This is what happens when your pay teachers poorly and thus you don’t attract quality candidates or administrators. Clowns are running the show and people wonder why kids today are lunatics.

Good. I hope every public school teacher in America quits.

Every year kids become worse and worse, and the rules keep getting bent to appease the students and it never works.

It's more so teachers are handcuffed in disciplining the kids with no house training for fear of being called racist.

And can we stop paying taxes for education? That’d be awesome

Send all the kids in public school to jail, that’s where they end up

This is bullshite. Teacher's have always been paid poorly. Kids are lunatics today because of their fricking parents.
