I actually don’t have as big an issue with the email access by the assistant as some of you do. Most executive assistants have access to the exec’s outlook and send out emails, calendar invites, etc for their boss.
Now, in this case there was no good reason for the email to be sent from Alar’s Email account rather than the assistant’s. But the access itself is no huge red flag for me.
But this letter is pretty pointless. It doesn’t really offer legitimate reasons for any of the egregious acts surrounding the will. And it basically blames Ms Plummer, who obviously is no longer able to offer her side of the story.
I do wonder about the motivation of the letter. Is Amar feeling the heat from her board? Or is it simply a response to public criticism?

She's apparently has dirt on the former assistant to threaten his current gig to the point he wrote that letter.
But, of course, the Democrat way...always someone else's fault.

You guys act like $500 a month is a lot of money to administer an estate. I tell you what, she was going to have to put up with dealing with all those greedy family members constantly demanding money. Phone calls emails, stop bys at the office-- saying no to all their bullshite reasons?. I wouldn't do it for a lousy $500 a month.

I don't care what Nakamodo supposedly "exposed". I've read some of the court filings. The family is typical bunch of greedy trash and I can;t imagine putting up with them for 2 decades.. People have no idea what they are talking about...

125k is a lot for someone allegedly seeking no compensation. Also, the blatant conflict of interest is the biggest issue here.

Advocate Editorial Board wrote their opinion on the matter last week and it wasn’t pretty for Tasha, Jackson, or the COA

That's correct. She should never have gotten involved due to her position as the head of the COA. I'd love to see some sort of legal charge, but would settle for her arse being kicked (by a very large boot) to the curb.

The COA board should have forced Amar to resign and if she did not then she should have been fired.

I think she is trying, and failing, to cover her fat arse.
It's not uncommon for executive assistants to have the ability to send and receive emails from their superior. It's actually very easy on Outlook and doesn't require sharing passwords.

ehhhh, there's a difference between giving someone your Outlook / Windows credentials and giving someone access to your Outlook calendar. Everything you described can be done just by giving access to your calendar, minus sending emails as TCA.
I don't know of a single exec who would take the Audit risk and hand over their domain login credentials. but i can't imagine the CoA IT department could swap out a broken keyboard / mouse much less run a proper audit.
