That parking lot is so dangerous. When will the property owners or Target wake up and beef up security. Panhandlers, the Olive Garden murder, and now this.

quote:

A woman was ambushed by a man wielding a knife at the Target on Siegen Lane Friday afternoon, according to a WBRZ report.

It probably wasn't those trashy panhandlers, but basically all the folks who shop at Target need to boycott or something to get this security issue fixed. Ridiculous.

Siegen lane as a whole has pretty much been blacklisted along with most other parts of Baton Rouge for years now as far as my family is concerned.

Definitely avoid it at night, but we gotta draw a line at some point.

Jesus. I hate going there. It looks so innocuous. Til you get fricking shanked on a Friday afternoon.

That Olive Garden murder was 11 years ago.

The panhandlers in the area do need to go, though.

What the hell. When did this happen? Does that IHOP still have awful service after it was rebuilt?

I noted the lighting around Olive Garden to be bad and I suspect it is in the rest of the shopping center.

Fixing that would help and getting some security along with the lighting could make a difference.

They were awful quick to put white male in the story. I have noted they don't do that in the opposite circumstance.

Last time I ate there, the little waitress was trying to rush me out of there almost as soon as I'd gotten my breakfast. I mean, I understand the need to flip the table, but jeez, give a brotha a chance to at least EAT.

This has played a large role in a lot of the shite that's been going down on Siegan. Not surprising.

Too large of a commercial area with too many parking lots and retail stores. It's too congested and looks to be getting worse.

You know, I pretty much work hard for everything I have, yet that's nicer than my house.

There's something wrong with that.
