If you walked into the restroom at that target you would learn quickly how little the management cares about anything. I've seen rest areas near Mexico cleaner that that place.

The only reasons why I travel into that area are because of Chic-fi-la and Jason's Deli.
I do want to help people who need money to eat but I don't know if these panhandlers are truly in need or are most of them are running a scam.

And yet there still liberal morons who think "affordable housing" is a benefit to a community. I was shocked to see people in my neighborhood bemoaning a lack of affordable housing. When it's the absence of that garbage that keeps the area nice and is the reason we live here.

It's a few minutes more of a drive for me, but going to the Millerville Target is worth it to avoid the shitshow that is Siegen.
The post-flood remodel is legit.

Ultimately, Section 8 will continue to devour communities until the program is changed federally. Obama's HUD had a policy of forcing "affordable housing" into neighborhoods without any. In other words, HUD targeted white neighborhoods for destruction. I don't know if it'll be much different under Trump. Can only hope, but a real estate guy like him might not be inclined to change such an entrenched program that is popular with housing companies and landlords.

Certainly appears so, and it predates Obama. "Hey, this area is very clean and prosperous. Great schools, clean amenities, upper middle class. That's not fair. Let's frick it all up and stick some section 8 housing right in the middle and ruin it for every one!"
It happens everywhere I've seen it, at least in BR.

I didn't know it predated Obama. Not surprised. And I don't blame just the Dems for Sec 8. Neither party seems interested in even acknowledging it as a problem. But yes it was (is?) actually a policy under HUD to destroy prosperous neighborhoods. Officially, it was a policy of spreading affordable housing out rather than concentrating it, but that in itself is an acknowledgement that affordable housing has detrimental effects that must be diluted. So HUD targeted areas without housing projects.
