Talked to four different BR law enforcement guys today - they all said the same thing

Had four different BR law enforcement guys come in my business today, 3 EBRSO deputies and one BRPD Officer, I asked each of them how things were going out there. When discussing the current protests all four independently referred to the situation as “the current shenanigans.”
That seemed a very bizarre term for four different people to come up with. I wonder if this is some kind of innocuous term they have been instructed to utilize. Regardless, I think it is probably a good term to use. I mean, who could get in trouble for the use of the term Shenanigans?
